INTERVIEW
Networking - Do You Wait or Do You Create Your Own Opportunities?
When you receive a flyer issued by RIBS (Ruffolo International Business Services – founded by Charles Ruffolo) you will see three very important questions that you undoubtedly have asked yourself at some point: Why am I never asked? Where can I find new markets? How do I gather valuable information? This is followed by the key to RIBS’s approach: Knowing the right people is too important to leave to chance and, as Ruffolo says: in networking it is not Who You Know that counts, but Who Knows You!
Attend one of Charles Ruffolo’s Network-Club.com events to learn about how you can develop your networking talents, while doing some real networking on-the-spot.

Building Up a Pension in the Netherlands - As an Expatriate
Many expats who are recruited to come and work in the Netherlands wonder if and under what conditions they can continue their foreign pension scheme here. The answer to this question is not easy to give. This issue is further complicated by the introduction of a new law according to which an employee who builds up his Dutch pension with a foreign insurance company is subject to an annual preliminary assessment. In this article, Geerte Mostermans goes into the conditions under which expatriates can continue building up a pension with a foreign insurance company.

LEISURE
Delft - A Town of History and Charm
How best to describe Delft! Is it quiet and cheerful, cosy and intimate or stately and smart? I think it’s a combination of all. There is impulse and vitality to Delft but it is controlled and tempered in style. The essence is the interplay of canals, squares and the mighty towers. The placid canals by which it is intersected are planted with trees, and along these watery highways the traffic glides along noiselessly. This historical city has a charm of its own with the changing faces of irregular houses with gables dating back to centuries gone by.
A tour through Delft: its museums, Delft Blue, its history, its architecture, shopping, and more.
